Fall 07 Social Events - Chuanie Liang PDF Print E-mail

As social chair of the fall 2007 semester, I had the opportunity to work with many organizations to plan fun mixers and parties for my sisters. We had social events multiple times every month and got to meet tons of people and see old friends. Of course, we don't only do social events in the school year, we do it over the summer too when people don't have school to worry about! On top of the mixers and parties, we also roadtrip to many places to meet other chapters and organizations. Some of the social events that we've done in the past half a year include mixers with Baruch, NYU, St John's, and our own Rutgers Lambda Phi Epsilon, costume mixer with Rutgers Pi Delta Psi, sexy business themed mixer with Alpha Sigma Phi, BBQ mixer with Delta Sigma Iota, Back to School Party with Stonybrook, St Johns and NYU aKDPhi, Breast Cancer Awareness club party at Gypsy Tea and our very successful NESR party at Webster Hall. Work hard play harder ladies!

Here you will find everything you need to know about our chapter - we encourage you to take your time and look around, see what interests you, and contact us if you have any questions or are interested in more information. We would be happy to hear from you! Keep checking back to our "Events" page to view upcoming events, parties, and updates from sisters. You will be amazed at the amount of work we do for our university and community, and the dedication and passion we have to represent our four letters: alpha Kappa Delta Phi.


As we start the new school year, we hope that you will take a look at our "Rush" Section to learn more about our recruitment period, which is coming up in less than a week! Everything is FREE, there are NO OBLIGATIONS and rides will be provided everywhere! It is a great time to get to know other students on campus, as well as the sisters of our wonderful sorority. We will also be hosting mixers throughout rush week with other on-campus organizations, so be on the look out for those, as well! You can find the rush schedule and our flyers under the "Events" or "Rush" sections. If we don't see you out at rush, we wish everybody a great fall semester!
